i have posted this idea some few days ago. i just thought that we could harness all our resources together and start a business na bisan magsugod sa gamay pero dako an ikatabang sa isag-isa ka membro. imagine kon pila ka buok na an graduates sa gnshi, kon magtampo-tampo nan ginagmay na pohonan, dako na an aboton.

first, we need to see a govt agency, tingali anh dept of trade and industy na may sub-agent na magoversee nan formation and development nan mga cooperatives. they also give free trainings, ( i am not exactly sure kon free ba, may bayaran tingali na para sa plite-plite nila sanan accomodation). motabang sab sila paghikay nan mga papeles.

sa pohonan, segon sa ikabutang nan kada membro, mosuggest ako na 500 pesos. an di makabutang nan 500 dajon, mahimo na i anam anam pero di mahimo na qualified member hangtud di mahuman an 500 pagpondo. mahimo mo-withdraw nan membership anytime, but not encouraged kay di man madajon an tujo nato kon mo-withdraw dajon. but this is getting ahead of the story. anyway, an gusto mopondo nan mas dako pa, mahimo karajaw sab. no limit.

i can provide the seed money para marealize ini. i would just need our friends in gigaquit to start the ball rolling by doing the legwork like seeing the right agent (dti) in surigao city and start talking with them. mahimo sab an ato mga membro na jaon sa surigao city like jesus jabuen (are u there, sir?) or anybody actually. si maam eleysia bayla buenaflor na teacher sa trade school sa city mahimo sab movolunteer kon makalugar sija. like i said, anybody. kon jaon ako did-on unta, ako ra. pero lajo man ako igo ra ko manghinaut na jaoy molakad nan ini.

whoever would become the president of the alumni association, unta hatagan ini nan pagtagad kay dakan di kon puro reunions and homecomings ra kita taman (na arang sab ka ok kay magkatigom-tigom man kon jaoy reunions). may ato sab concrete na accomplishment dili lamang sa pagtabang sa ato alma mater through donations (these donations by the way, i appreciate those people who did, basi makatabang ra sab ako in the future) but also through a livelihood na mas direkta an pagkakita-an na amoy himoon na source of funding for our donations later on. mahimo sab na amoy source of funds for helping deserving students continue their education, etc, etc.

an ato cooperative magsugod tingali as a lending cooperative. later on, mag buy and sell. basi an kaugalingon nan products from our students mahi-market nato through our cooperative. limitless an potential.

but first thing first, i am asking for your ideas and comments on this. i can provide the seed money, if u want. i just want people to do things for us. because this is for us and for those who come after us. this would be our legacy.

by the way, di kon limited an membership sa may access ra sa internet. an tanan alumni mahimo magpamembro sa copoperative. magsugod ra kita nan policy kay dakan jaoy ato basehanan nan ato membersship and operations.

waya pa may ato time frame nan ini but if we can start as early as possbile, then le it be.

Sir Carlos pasensya na karon pa mahuman ang Sunday service dito Sydney Salamat sa imo time kanina at sa explaination agree ako dito at whatever outcome sa plan for the sake of the GNSHIANs' as well I will try my best to help.Anyway where do we start,we can start by formulating rules or may gathering feedback from the members.

I hope that every body will share there idiaes and opinion to tell you Sir Carlos in my opinion dapat talaga ma brougth ito sa Alumni meeting this May 1, 2009 sana makaattend. I'm very eager to help

yes, bro nick. we can start by actually talking to dti about our plan. they have all the forms and formats for our formation/organization, operations, and so on and so forth. ato ra ipattern didto an ato organizational structure, etc., etc.
amo lagi ini na we would need/ask somebody from gigaquit or surigao city to do the talking/negotiating with dti for our guidance. i know it would be hard to start and we would be experiencing birth pains. but no matter, we shall go on and persevere kay ato man ini.
so there, dti muna. if there is a financial need for this incurred in travelling towards this purpose, let me know (anyone?) and i will send it through sir reginaldo. I am sure ok ra ini dimo, nald?).

Sir Carlos I like u'r idea of forming our GNSHIANS Cooperative. Karon pa ko maka basa sa ijo tag hunahuna-an na karajawan sa mga member I want to share my knowledge how to start it. Try to ask Certificate of Registration to CDA ( Cooperative Development Authority ) I think sa Department of Finance, jaon ba ini sa Surigao? o adto sa Butuan, the Capital of our Region, Caraga., there we will know the requirement to form a Cooperative . Personal gyud ni adtoon. Kinahanglan naa gyoy mokugi pag lakaw sa mga requirements. Ask also the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) basin kinahanglan sab mag register ang coop. para maka start to operate. Good kong ma discuss ini na idea sa May 1. GOD BLESS

Best to strart with petty cash loan nga gamay but dili ka petty cash kong dili pa member sa coop. ug sabotan pa sa committee kon pila ka percent an tubo i think 2% per mo. sacto lng una . Better if a member has to start (one) share capital of P 500.00. Depende na sa member kon pila ija i put up na share capital inig ka yr. ending maka bahin nan patronage refund each member. So big capital big sab an patronage refund di ba Sir... agree or disagree. Bitaw dako na preparation ini but kong sugdan mahuman ra man diba? Mo share ra ko if i have some ideas mag research pa ko. But who will man this, lajo man ta gani kon ini ra si Vilma Chua Bonilla maka help to kay she is a CPA she can manage the audit committee si sweet Lourdes Lincuna Nombre naa noon didto, she can help sweet Alice Bayla Buenaflor to follow up the requirements.
